Summary: | Testing of the modification of the SST turbulence model (SST-HL) developed for improvement of prediction of flow around airfoils was carried out for different flows. Although the SST-HL model is slightly worse than the original SST model for turbulent separated flows the agreement of the SST-HL model with the experimental data is quite satisfactory. For flow around airfoils the SST-HL demonstrates superiority over the SST model for separated flow regimes near stall conditions. |
