Summary: | We present an investigation to ascertain influence of structure metal layer in hybrid plasmonic-photonic crystal (HPPC) to formation of optical Tamm states. Transmission peak of photonic bandgap has appearance in transmittance spectrum of one dimensional photonic crystals in a result of Tamm plasmon exciting in both polarizations of light. Three-dimensional opal-like HPPC structures have unconvetional optical Tamm states. The transmission peak do not observe at the wavelengths of the photonic bandgap at transmittance spectrum. We study the condition of excitation of convetional optical Tamm states in opal-like photonic crystal with flat-corrugated gold layer. We also compare optical properties of this structure and opal-like photonic crystal with corrugated gold layer. |
