Summary: | ABSTRACT The objective was to describe the clinical and sociodemographic profile and to evaluate the quality of life (QoL) and associated factors in women living with HIV. Clinical and sociodemographic data were obtained from the medical records of the service, and data related to QoL through the HIV/AIDS - Targeted Quality of Life instrument. 37 women with an average age of 39.3 years participated. Most had completed elementary school (73%), had no employment relationship (62%), were married or in a stable union (60%); had a diagnosis of infection within 5 years or more (73%), was on regular ART (78%), had TCD4 + lymphocytes greater than or equal to 350 cells/mm3 (76%), and undetectable viral load or less at 40 copies/ml (68%) in the last test performed, it was sexually heterosexual (65%), non-smoker (73%), had no diagnosis of depression (78%) and had comorbidities (70%).
