Summary: | This paper presents a brief description of the application of the technique of support-vector machines in order to classify patients with pathologies of Parkinson's disease from voice samples. The problem of linear classification and the case of non-linear classification are addressed, for which the Kernel functions will be used in order to transform the input space into a space of greater dimensionality where it can be classified by means of a hyperplane. |
