Description
Summary:This study demonstrates the feasibility to investigate the electrolyte-side of the Li/electrolyte interface using an X-ray total reflection phenomenon. By means of a specially designed cell and synchrotron X-ray sources, the reflectivity curve is successfully obtained, where the critical angle is in reasonable agreement with the calculated value. Furthermore, we attempt to perform grazing incidence X-ray scattering measurement and find a characteristic signal, which should strongly reflect structural properties of the electrolyte in the interfacial region.
