Summary: | Generalized correlations for predicting heat transfer and pressure drop for turbulent flow of Newtonian fluid through tubes with inner helical ribs are presented. A comparison with existing correlations in the literature shows that revealed correlations allow decreasing the data deviation and cover the wide ranges of working fluids, operational conditions, and different dimensions of helical ribs. |
