Summary:2-(Tetrazolylacetyl)cyclohexane-1,3-diones were synthesized via C -acylation of cyclohexane-1,3-diones with tetrazolylacetic acids in the presence of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride and N , N -dimethylaminopyridine in acetonitrile at room temperature. Structure of the synthesized compounds was confirmed by 1 H, 13 C NMR spectroscopy, as well as two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy methods.
