Summary:The present study aimed to strengthen the conflict resolution skills in victims of the Colombian armed conflict. 48 volunteers included in the Single Registry of Victims which had permanent residence in the department of Magdalena participated. A quasi-experimental design with a control group was used and also the Conflict Resolution Scale and the Inventory of Aggressive Situations and Behaviors, as instruments. The intervention addressed five thematic axes through eight weekly workshops made up of several types of activities. The hypothesis tests indicated the absence of statistically significant differences between the analysis groups and between pre and post measurements. Its implications and the factors that influenced the result are discussed. As a conclusion, in order to develop programs that contribute to peacebuilding in Colombia, it is necessary to continue evaluating similar interventions that take into account the heterogeneous characteristics of the victims and a large number of associated variables.
