Summary:A modification of the arbitrary discontinuity breakup numerical scheme (S.K. Godunov’s scheme) is proposed for evaluating unsteady gas-dynamic processes during pressure wave supercharging using a pass-through marching calculation without shock discontinuities extraction. With the help of a new version of the scheme based on using the specifically developed system of gas-dynamic functions of unsteady flow, a numerical simulation of the pressure wave supercharging of piston engines has been carried out.
