Summary: | Oil desalting processes in electric desalting plants are analyzed and the conditions affecting these processes are indicated. The structure of interrelationships of the system is disclosed by systems analysis method. The control parameters are combined into integral criteria, which can be used not only to compare options of electric desalting process implementation in various types of plants and to select efficient designs of electrohydrodynamic mixers, electric dehydrators, and electric coalescing devices, but also to evaluate the principal indicators of the electric desalting plant performance. A generalized criterion is proposed for determining the energy and resource consumption efficiency of electric oil desalting plants. |
