Summary:This paper examines human capital and particularly the knowledge features of the Greek production structure for the year 2018, the repercussions of the economic crisis of 2011-2015 and the 4th industrial revolution. The knowledge requirements of the production system emerge as an outcome of the job requirement needs existing in the different sectors of the Greek economy. Knowledge requirements of low and middle levels of specialization are involved, pertaining to the following knowledge items: low level mathematics, customer and personal service, clerical knowledge, mechanical knowledge, and sales and marketing knowledge. These comprise 43% of the knowledge requirements of the Greek production system.
