Description
Summary:The problem of the radar search-detection-classification of objects on the ground moving with random changes of the direction of the velocity vector is considered. A method for controlling the orientation of the radar beam, which maximizes the monitoring bandwidth on the Earth‘s surface, while providing the maximum possible resolution on it and the absence of “dead zones” to the left and right of the direction of movement of the objects, usually arising from the Doppler selection of the moving objects, is proposed. A computer model is created that allows us to study the dependence of the probabilities of detecting and classifying objects on the speed of their movement under various scenarios of monitoring by a massive numerical experiment. The advantages of the proposed method in comparison with traditional ones are proved by the modeling methods.
