Summary: | Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) were prepared by laser ablation of high purity gold bulk immersed in distilled water, the laser was Nd:YAG with fundamental wavelength (1064 nm) and energy per pulse of 700 mJ in presence and absence of the magnetic field. The prepared Au NPs were identified by many methods, like the UV-Visible, AFM, XRD and FTIR. It is clear from these techniques that the shape of Au NPs are spherical and the existence of the magnetic field causes an increasing in the intensity of surface plasmon resonance, particles sizes and crystallite size, while the roughness of Au thin films and the bond absorption peaks intensity were reduced in presence of the magnetic field. |
