Description
Summary:The article shows the possibilities of solid-state (СP MAS) 13 С NMR spectroscopy for determination of lignin content in a wide range of lignocellulosic materials: wood of various tree species and plant waste. The analysis is based on the use of the dependences of the integral intensity of 13 C NMR signals due to aromatic or methoxy carbon atoms of lignin on its percentage in mixtures with cellulose. The lignin content obtained by 13 С NMR spectroscopy is in good agreement with the published data and the results obtained using acid hydrolysis of the corresponding samples of lignocellulosic biomaterials.
