Spatial Characteristics of Radiation Initiated by a Discharge over the Ferrite Surface

The experimental results on the distribution of pulsed nanosecond discharge radiation over the М1000НН ferrite surface are presented. The discharge was excited by high-voltage 300-kV 15-ns pulses. The spatial distribution of short (5-ns) X-ray (>750 eV) radiation propagating along the ferrite sur...

Description
Summary:The experimental results on the distribution of pulsed nanosecond discharge radiation over the М1000НН ferrite surface are presented. The discharge was excited by high-voltage 300-kV 15-ns pulses. The spatial distribution of short (5-ns) X-ray (>750 eV) radiation propagating along the ferrite surface is studied. The radiation divergence is ~4° in the direction perpendicular to the ferrite plane.
