Summary: | In this paper, we present the results of studies of corrosion-resistant deposited metal with a strip electrode under a flux layer on carbon steel performed by SAW and ESW methods. The similarity of the chemical composition, structure, and mechanical and corrosion properties of the deposited metal in different welding methods is shown. ESW deposited metal is established to provide greater purity of nonmetallic inclusions. |
