Summary:The article presents the calculation of stability of the tailings facility slopes enclosing a dam, considering the seismic impact. The calculated stability coefficients obtained from the engineering (“Otkos” software) and numerical (PLAXIS 2D software) methods were compared. The stability coefficient of the dam slopes was additionally determined by the direct dynamic method, considering the pore pressure.
