Summary: | The paper examines units based on low-speed compressor stages which allow obtaining high gas pressure as multi-stage piston and diaphragm compressors can obtain. The operation modes of low-speed compressors are considered, the modes making possible to obtain high pressure with integral characteristics similar in value to the parameters of existing units. Experimental studies have been conducted to simulate the operation of the first and second compression stages. The results obtained made it possible to get recommendations on the degree values for pressure increase in a two-stage low-speed compressor unit. |
