Summary:Mining is one of the largest and most hazardous industries in the world. This research aims to review the current research in the field of occupational health and safety in mining sector to categorize health-related risk factors found by scholars and investigate how workers' exposures to these risk factors have been managed up to present. Occupational health-related risk factors are identified and discussed under six sectors of the investigated physiological disorders. This can lighten future research paths for presenting preventive measures which helps improve physiological and ergonomic health and safety management in mining projects.
