description One of the key challenges facing innovative technologies from the information field is image processing. One of the main and most breakthrough methods is image processing based on artificial neural networks. Artificial neural networks are an advanced achievement of mankind in the field of information technology, which allows us to solve various difficult-to-calculate problems most effectively. The main purpose of this paper is to study the role of artificial neural networks in image processing, as well as a particular algorithm from this field. This article discusses various aspects of the use of artificial neural networks in image reconstruction. The problem of the presented article is the high need for the implementation of an effective image recovery algorithm based on intelligent tools, in particular artificial neural networks. The author proposes a modification of the "Super- resolution" algorithm by integrating the sparse coding method.
