Description
Summary:The present study reports the dielectric and DC resistivity studies of the Cd doped Co‐Ni ferrites synthesized by solid state reaction method. The XRD studies confirm the cubic spinel structure of the samples. The substitution of the cadmium in the ferrite system significantly influences the AC conductivity, involvement of the grain boundary involvement in conduction. The variations of dielectric constant and dielectric loss for all the samples are studied as a function of frequency and show an increase with doping concentration. The DC resistivity studies confirm the semiconducting nature of the synthesized ferrites. The activation energy is observed to be in the range of (0.534–0.629 eV).
