Summary: | Decomposition NLP/LP/NLP methods are considered for the automated process design of the economically optimal distributed heat exchange networks between process streams using the assignment problem. The principle of fixation of intermediate variables and issues of the design of the superstructures of a heat exchange network and their decomposition are discussed. Methods to reduce the computational effort to solve the problems of the optimal heat integration are analyzed. The proposed synthesis methods are studied using the example of a mash distillation plant, and the problem of synthesizing the optimal multistage heat exchange network and the split-stream heat exchange network is solved. |
