NPs were characterized using FTIR, XRD, SEM, and EDX techniques. The XRD results confirms the orthorhombic structure of RuO
2
. The catalytic activity performance of the prepared RuO
2
NPs was examined by the degradation of H
2
O
2
solution. The obtained data indicated that RuO
2
materials could effectively degrade H
2
O
2
