Summary: | Pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia is a benign proliferative mesenchymal lesion of the breast. To date, only a few cases of axillary pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia with imaging findings have been reported in the literature. Herein, we report a rare case of pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia in both axillae in a previously healthy 46‐year‐old woman and describe the imaging findings, including ultrasonography and computed tomography findings.
(A) Radial ultrasonography of the right axilla shows a heterogeneous mass with circumscribed margins and an oval shape (arrows). (B) Color Doppler image shows increased internal and rim vascularity of the mass. (C) Longitudinal ultrasonography of the left axilla shows a heterogeneous echoic mass with circumscribed margins and an oval shape (arrows). (D) Color Doppler image shows increased internal and rim vascularity of the mass. (E) Contrast‐enhanced chest computed tomography shows oval or lobulated masses with mild enhancement in both axillae (arrows) |
