Description
Summary:This article seeks to contribute to the decolonial option for understanding the organizational reality in Latin America. The Modernity / Coloniality / Decoloniality (DCM) project is promoted by Latin American authors, predominantly Spanish-speaking. However, few authors of Brazilian social thought are cited in the works elaborated from this perspective. The objective of the article is to bring the contribution of two Brazilian authors, the sociologist Guerreiro Ramos and the economist Celso Furtado, who have much to contribute with the MCD project, as well as for the better understanding of the organizations in Latin America. Therefore, the article investigates, based on the perspective of border thinking, the intersections of the works "The Sociological Reduction" (Ramos, 1958) and "Economic Formation of Brazil" (Furtado, 1959); and "The Brazilian Pre-Revolution" (Furtado, 1962) and "Myth and Truth of the Brazilian Revolution" (Ramos, 1963)
