Summary: | The paper presents a study of sub- and supercritical fluid extraction of the fruiting body biomass of the
F. fomentarius
tinder fungus with ethanol. It also analyses the effect of extraction conditions (temperature, pressure, time) on the yield of the solid extract, phenolic compounds and steroids. It has been established that sub- and supercritical extraction is more efficient than traditional methods of extraction of biologically active substances (maceration and percolation). The solid extract yield reaches 43 wt %, with the content of phenolic compounds in the extract up to 50 wt %. The obtained extracts are shown to have high antiradical activity (up to 350 μmol Troloxeq/g). A correlation has been found between the antiradical activity of the extracts and the content of phenolic compounds in them. |
