Summary: | Indonesia has released its pledge on reduction Green House Gases (GHGs) emission. The mitigation action includes increasing the renewable energy utilizations. Solar rooftop is one of the potential mitigation actions to meet the GHG emission reduction and renewable energy target. In this work, techno and economic analysis on the solar roof top presented. The analysis is made based on the solar irradiation in Medan city of Indonesia. The solar irradiations for several days are measured. The measured data and solar photovoltaic panel available in Indonesia market are used to perform technical analysis. Based on the technical analysis the economic analysis is carried out. The results are expected to supply the necessary information to build a city with low emission. |
