Summary: | A mild and efficient protocol for sulfonylation of 8‐aminoquinolines, naphthylamides and anilides with sodium sulfinates by anodic oxidation at room temperature was developed. In the absence of any additional catalyst and oxidant, a series of sulfonylated products were achieved in good to excellent yields. This proposal features good water tolerance, excellent selectivity and broad functional group compatibility.
An efficient protocol for sulfonylation of N‐arylamides/amine with sulfinate salts has been developed via anodic oxidation at room temperature in an undivided cell. |
