Description
Summary:The article focuses on evaluation of the level of air pollution in the forest territories surrounding the cityborders, using lichen indication. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that earlier this territory was not described for the quality of the surface air. The author notes that this area is exposed to recreational impact. The population living near these forests visit green areas, but do not have up-to-date data on the level of air pollution. According to the results of the study, we discovered 10 species of lichens, which are divided into 5 families and 10 genera. Analysis of ecological groups showed an average level of forest pollution.
