Summary:Within the framework of the model of ideal mixing of particles in a fluidized bed, the conditions needed for carrying out the continuous process of precarbonization (torrefaction) of biowaste in a fluidized bed reactor have been elucidated. The dependence of the degree of torrefaction on the average residence time of particles in the reactor and on the characteristic time of torrefaction has been established.
