Description
Summary:Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) is a multidisciplinary research field. It has many promising applications, and the imaging devices are actively being scaled to human size. As such this work aims at providing insight into some of the different fields connected by MPI. The research areas covered within this work include, amongst other things, simulations of magnetic particles, magnetic particle spectroscopy, MPI scanners and future theranostic applications. A short introduction in each field is given followed by a discussion of some recent trends and developments within it.
