The formula for calculation of elastic deformation modulus is proposed. The relationship between the sound velocity and the binding energy of an individual atom in a solid has been obtained. A simple formula is found for calculation of the sound velocity in a metallic rod. The correlation of the characteristic Debye temperature with the binding energy of an ion in a solid body lattice is proposed.
