Summary:In modern existence, companies have focused on developing innovative materials with superior qualities to those now accessible. The present study aims to fabricate and evaluate the mechanical properties of AA2219 alloy reinforced by Silicon oxide (SiO2) particles in this regard. Liquid metal (Stir) casting was used to make the AA2219/SiO2 composites. The quantity of reinforcement introduced to the AA2219 was varied from 0 to 9 wt% in the steps of 3. The AA2219 alloy and its SiO2 composites were subjected to hardness and tensile tests following ASTM Standards. The findings demonstrate that SiO2 filled AA2219 alloy boosted SiO2 composites had better mechanical characteristics than the AA2219 base alloy.
