Description
Summary:Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is one of the common causes of death in patients worldwide, but it can be prevented. The volume of preventive measures depends on the risks of developing thrombosis. To assess this risk, there are many models of VTE risk assessment (MRA). Not all models include thrombophilia and concomitant diseases. We developed MRI, which takes into account many risk factors for VTE, thrombophilia, and concomitant diseases. The risk of developing VTE is estimated for each specific disease, taking into account its duration. Our prognostic model allows us to improve a personalized approach to patient treatment, to identify a group of patients with a high risk of VTE who need pharmacological prophylaxis of VTE.
