Description
Summary:Luminescent composite coatings based on europium and tantalum mixed oxides have been formed on titanium by combining methods of plasma-electrolytic oxidation and extraction-pyrolytic synthesis. The data on the structure and composition of the surface of the coatings are present. An increase in the number of operations for applying a modifying organic paste to three makes it possible to obtain a layer of a new phase on the surface of the base oxide coating. At an annealing temperature of 600°C and a pyrolysis time of 1 h, the coatings exhibit red luminescence with a maximum at ~618 nm. According to X-ray powder diffraction, the luminescent properties of the coatings are due to the presence of both oxides and europium polytantalates in their composition. Based on the excitation and luminescence spectra at 300 K, the luminescence characteristics of the obtained complex oxide coatings are estimated. An increase in the annealing temperature of the precursors to 900°C leads to an increase in the luminescence intensity of the coatings.
