Summary:In this paper we discuss the use of the transition operator method for the theoretical description of a multi-qubit system in a one-dimensional waveguide. A general calculation has been performed for the N-qubit system, which was then applied to the case of spontaneous decay for one and two qubits. The probabilities of transitions in such systems, as well as the emission spectra, are investigated in detail.
