Description
Summary:The effect of heat treatment on the magnetic hysteretic properties of an isotropic hard magnetic Fe–30Cr–14Co alloy is studied in order to optimize the heat treatment by experimental design using the Statgraphics XVI and Statistica software. The best reached parameters (remanence B r = 0.91 T, coercive force H cB = 41.3 kA/m, maximum energy product ( BH ) max = 13.2 kJ/m 3 ) exceed those of the industrial Fe–Ni–Al alloy YuND4 (GOST 17809–72): B r is higher by 80%; H cB , by 3%; and ( BH ) max , by more than 80%.
