Description
Summary:The influence of the surface state of a metallic element on the strength of the adhesive joint of a composite material with the metallic element is considered. This study is important due to the prospects for the use of composites in the reinforcement of metal structures. The indicators of the macrorelief of metallic elements are quantitatively estimated, the preparation of samples for testing is considered, and a series of laboratory experiments is performed to estimate the influence of the surface macrorelief of operating metallic elements on the strength of the adhesive joint with a composite material are considered. The experimental results are used to draw conclusions about the effect of the surface macrorelief on the bearing capacity of the adhesive joint.
