Summary: | Procedures are proposed for evaluating the impact of safety aspects, which are associated with the possibility of the occurrence of severe accidents, on economic indicators of NPP, taking into account probability of their realization. The relevant parametric calculations are performed in order to assess the impact of the conditions and consequences of severe beyond design basis accidents on the incremental cost of electricity. It is shown that the contribution from expenditures on clean-up after a serious beyond design basis accident to the incremental cost of electricity is very small if occurrence probability is less than 2·10
