Summary:The existing tools for assessing the scientific achievements of a scientist are analyzed critically, and their radical revision using a standardized set of scientometric indicators is proposed, including new metrics—quartile and country indices, developed by the author of this article. This will make it possible not only to draw a more objective scientometric portrait of a specialist but also to lay the foundation for the development of a new scientific area, scientometric anthropology.
