Analysis of the recording efficiency of dynamic gratings in bacteriorhodopsin with the help of differential absorption spectra

The spectral distribution of the diffraction efficiency of amplitude-phase dynamic gratings in bacteriorhodopsin D96N is calculated based on the family of differential absorption spectra and the dispersion relations written in the difference form. The diffraction efficiencies at different wavelength...

Description
Summary:The spectral distribution of the diffraction efficiency of amplitude-phase dynamic gratings in bacteriorhodopsin D96N is calculated based on the family of differential absorption spectra and the dispersion relations written in the difference form. The diffraction efficiencies at different wavelengths, and the diffraction efficiency ratio between the amplitude and phase components of a dynamic grating, are measured using the dynamic holography methods. It is shown that the experimental and calculation results agree well with each other within the absorption band of the initial trans state of bacteriorhodopsin.
