Description
Summary:Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES) technology is increasing day by day due to its less environmental impact and low running cost. Wind energy and solar energy combined together makes a perfect hybrid energy system for the generation of electrical energy. Now-a-days small wind turbines are used widely for micro generation of electricity. These small wind turbines generate limited power therefore multiple turbines are connected together to produce useful amount of power. In addition to wind, solar energy is added to the system to attain the continuity in the supply and improve the efficiency and reliability at the output side. In this paper, the output power from the hybrid energy system i.e.; from both very small series connected wind turbines and the solar PV panel is connected together. The entire power sent through a non-isolated multiple input DC-DC converter. The output power from the converter is fed to the three phase inverter and the converted output AC power is given to the grid.
