Microwave Assisted Synthesis of Flavonoid Based 1,2,3-Triazole and Isoxazole Derivatives, Their Antibacterial, Antioxidant, and Anticancer Activities

Several of these demonstrate high activity against gram positive pathogens
Bacillus subtilis
,
Staphylococcus aureus
and gram negative species
Escherichia coli
,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
using streptomycin as a standard drug. Antioxidant radical scavenging activity of the products has been tested using ascorbic acid as a standard drug. Anticancer activity has been tested against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines using doxorubicin as a standard drug. Two products have demonstrated promising results. |
