Summary:New flavonoid based 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazole derivatives have been synthesized under microwave irradiation and conventional heating methods. Structures of the synthesized compounds have been confirmed by IR, 1 H and 13 C, and mass spectra. All products have been tested in vitro for antibacterial, antioxidant and anticancer activities . Several of these demonstrate high activity against gram positive pathogens Bacillus subtilis , Staphylococcus aureus and gram negative species Escherichia coli , Pseudomonas aeruginosa using streptomycin as a standard drug. Antioxidant radical scavenging activity of the products has been tested using ascorbic acid as a standard drug. Anticancer activity has been tested against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines using doxorubicin as a standard drug. Two products have demonstrated promising results.
