Summary:In this paper, we put forward the notion of F -weak expansive mapping and simultaneously prove some fixed point result specifically in relation theoretic metric space. In addition, our result generalizes one of the results obtained by [Jaroslaw Górnicki (2016). Fixed point theorems for F-expanding mappings, Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2017(1)]. Also, some illustration is provided which further substantiates the result proved herein.
