Description
Summary:The analysis of the possibilities of using the cross-flow plasma-fuel nozzle for supporting stable combustion of gaseous fuel in a combustion chamber of the contact-type gas turbine engine with steam injection is presented. Experimental studies of the plasma-fuel nozzle were carried out, which proved the stability of its operation in a wide range of changes in the flow rates of plasma feedstock air. Indicators of the efficiency of the thermal scheme of the contact-type gas turbine engine as well as the characteristics of a low-emission combustion chamber with plasma assistance are obtained.
