Waves in a porous medium containing gas hydrate

Modeling of the propagation of harmonic waves in a porous medium containing gas hydrate has been carried out. The dispersion equation for the complex wave number is obtained. The phase velocity and decay rate of a hydrate-containing porous medium are analyzed on the basis of the dispersion equation.
