Summary: | The change in the abrasive material concentration on the friction surface of the composite diamond-containing material during the tool operation is primarily a quantitative expression of the retention of diamonds in the bond. The Scheil’s method was applied to study the change in the active grains concentration of grinding powders from natural and synthetic diamonds of various fractions in a composite material based on polytetrafluoroethylene in the process of friction and wear. |
