Summary: | Sustenance of public buildings through effective maintenance culture is essential to the national development of a nation. However, the level of abandonment and deterioration of public buildings is high due largely to the paucity of stakeholders’ behaviour in the maintenance process and usage of the maintained buildings. This study therefore through a review of literature measured stakeholders’ behaviour as attributes that can influence maintenance management of public buildings. This was done to understand the impact of stakeholders’ behaviour in the designing of maintenance instruments such as maintenance policies, maintenance models, or maintenance concepts, for effective maintenance management of the existing public buildings and other projected ones. |
