Function Theory from Tensor Algebras

We survey connections between our work on tensor algebras over C ∗ -correspondences and free analysis. The goal is to expose the fundamental features that underwrite both NC -function theory and our tensorial function theory: ‘Respecting intertwiners’ and ‘local uniform boundedness’.
