Summary: | As the demand for university degrees grows in Chile, the need to understand how students learn increases in order to improve teaching. The objective of this study is to demonstrate the internal validity of the CHAEA scale to generate a validated instrument for application in the teaching of business administration—a little-explored field. To this end, the authors applied Cronbach’s alpha measurement of internal consistency and factor analysis to measure the validity and coherence of the scale adapted to the local reality, along with a pre-test to determine the subjects’ ability to understand the items. The results show that, after some item adjustments, the scale can be used to estimate learning styles, and there is coherence with the findings of previous research studies regarding the scale. |
